I was destined to be a vet from the age of 6 and never swayed from that passion, maintaining a strong work ethic despite losing my dad suddenly at the start of her final year of school. Taking the long road to get in to vet school, I graduated at the tender age of 27! Through my career I initially worked in small animal reproduction then following my first child, took a pivot and developed a passion for natural health. I took further studies in aromatherapy and in 2020 launched Shy Tiger, a natural animal health and lifestyle brand for pets. This brand came out of frustration from not being able to source my clients trusted natural alternatives for their pets. With a 100% natural toothpaste being our biggest seller, I enjoy combining education with quality natural products to help pet parents help their pets live their best lives. Now a mum of two humans and two furs, alongside my husband Max, who recently gave up a successful career to join me, own both Mont Albert Vets and Shy Tiger.
