Cofounder of iClick2Learn. Regional EduTech start-up teaching business skills to not-for-profits
My career has been spent at the intersection of enterprise; community; tourism and economic impact. I’ve dedicated my working and volunteer life to building healthy, resilient and sustainable communities by driving or supporting social impact initiatives.

I live and breath community volunteer and staff development. They're the heart and soul of our communities and need all the help they can get to govern, fundraise and grow. I'm an innovator, a creator, a doer and a strategiser who just doesn't sit still, and loves developing collaborative partnerships for good.

My working career has been as diverse as my entrepreneurial journey. I’ve worked across many industries including retail; accommodation; human services; wholesale; hospitality; real estate; cultural tourism; event management; education; marketing and promotions; management and governance consulting and eLearning.

I’ve ideated and launched 4 start-ups, taken products to market and learnt a lot from the many useful mistakes made! I’ve prioritised applied learning on the job and embraced the value of academic learning along the way with various certificates; diplomas and an MBA. I’ve delved in every topic that’s captured my interest and adds value to my work including asset based community development; human centred design; social impact; social return on investment; law; entrepreneurship; governance; community building and critical thinking to name a few.

My values of equity, inclusion, social justice and collaboration are embedded into my DNA. These direct my daily decisions; influences our team culture and my entrepreneurial focus.

We run a small business with sociocratic governance at its heart, building emotional intelligence, ownership and an exceptionally healthy supporting culture and a high-performing team.

When I’m not strategising or learning, I’m volunteering or winding down by travelling; indulging in food experiences; cycling; sitting by the fire or cuddling my cat alongside my fabulous husband and cofounder, Glen.
I head up iClick2Learn as CEO and lead community trainer. We build the capacity of people in the for-purpose sector by giving them the tools and knowledge they need to create social change. I've worked in the sector, and have been an advisor, consultant, trainer and facilitator over the last 18+ years helping over 10,000 community leaders, and longer than that as a volunteer myself.

The one thing that I recognised, and kept being told, as I travelled this beautiful country of ours, was the inequality of affordable access the sector has to the tools and knowledge to do their work. Something that I’ve experienced also, as a regional person.

So, we decided to do something about that.

While continuing to work in my consulting business, In 2016 we ideated an enterprise, delivered a pilot and iClick2Learn launched as a social enterprise in 2018. A review of our purpose led to the establishment of Australia's only learning library for the sector in late 2020. I said a fond farewell to my consulting business to dedicate myself full-time in our social enterprise.

If we want healthy, resilient communities with sustainable community organisations that create social change and economic impact in communities; then we need to equip them with the the tools and knowledge they need to do their work, and that's why I cofounded iClick2learn.

It’s a new era for helping grassroots community organisations with the tools and knowledge to help them with the valuable work they do everyday in our community. With the new challenges they're facing, they need us more now, then ever before.

Want to help us in our mission?

Help us spread the word about how we up-skill staff and volunteers who in turn, build healthy and resilient communities for us all.
