A visionary at heart, Deb’s ambition is to empower OTs, parents and educators to make sense of kids’ behaviour to help them understand the WHY behind challenging behaviour.

Think of her as the Behaviour Detective who digs down into the nitty-gritty of life to find the real reasons for kids’ challenging behaviour.

It’s important to understand that “behaviours” are really kids asking for help and support. And it’s up to us to correctly interpret the clues so we can help kids reach their full potential and thrive.

As the author of the book Teaching Kids to Manage Anxiety described by Maggie Dent as the best, most comprehensive and practical book to help kids with anxiety, Deb help kids with anxiety increase confidence, build resilience and transition back to school and into the new “covid normal”.

She has also authored a number of books and online courses including :
- Teaching Kids to Manage Anxiety: Superstar Practical Strategies
- Alex Learns that Changes are OK
- Fireworks Freakout
- Reducing Meltdowns and Improving Concentration- The Just Right Kids Technique
- Sensory Songs for Tots CD

Parenting expert Maggie Dent describe's Deb's book as:

"This is quite simply the best, most comprehensive and practical book I have ever read to help teach children - and many grownups - how to manage anxiety. It is written in an easy to read way with lots of fabulous graphics. This brilliant book needs to be in every home, every school and every library." (Teaching Kids to Manage Anxiety: Superstar Practical Strategies)

Deb has won numerous business awards yearly through the Mid Coast Business Awards and Deb was a finalist at the Mid North Coast Regional Business awards for her work.
