"Late one winter afternoon in 2010 while working as a marketing/account manager at an architectural and design firm in NYC, my then manager called me in to the office and said, “We are downsizing" and you can guess the rest.

In spite of it all I knew I did not want another J.O.B., so I decided not to go back out into the market. So I decided to file for unemployment which would last about year and a half. I started researching and planning; and not only that, I did the unthinkable by investing my unemployment checks into starting my business. Right then and there I knew I had it in me to take risk and so I took a take a leap of faith. YES! I jumped and never looked back. Fast forward 3.5 years later, Apples & Oranges Public Relations is now approaching its 4th year in business.

Since then Apples & Oranges Public Relations has been helping start-ups and small to medium-sized businesses launch and grow by applying strategic business development, PR and marketing strategies that will work for their business.

In July, 2014 we were acknowledged as the #50 best PR firm out of the top 100 in New York City. We have garnered press in publications such as Essence Magazine, Time Out NY, NY1 News and New York Post/Page Six to name a few. In addition, we recently received our MWBE certification as a Minority & Woman –Owned Business Enterprise in the City & State of New York. We’ve also recently had a branding facelift to give Apples & Oranges Public Relations a more fresh and fruitful appearance.
